CHAT was delighted to receive £2574 from the Torpoint Co-op to add to our Food and Wellbeing Fund. £7901 was raised in the past year through the co-op local community fund and the money was shared between CHAT, Cry4Tom and Beat4autism.
CHATs Food and Well-being Fund was launched in April 2020 to address the financial loss for many families on the Rame Peninsula. In the past year CHAT has assisted over 400 times with food and other items. The service is ongoing , people can apply for a food shop delivery to help a family through difficult times, and it is totally confidential.
CHAT has been chosen for a second year by Co-op members to raise funds in 2022.
